Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of mightymigrate.com (the "Site") and the website migration, hosting and related services (the "Services") offered by Built Mighty ("we", "us"). By using the Site or ordering a Service you agree to these terms.

1. What the Services are

MightyMigrate rebuilds an existing website hosted on Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress or a similar platform as a WordPress site (and, for stores, a WooCommerce store) that matches the original design as closely as the platforms allow. For a site already on WordPress, the deliverable is a new theme that matches the original design; existing content, plugins and URLs stay in place. The Services include the free scanner on the Site, the fixed-price Site and Ecommerce migration tiers, optional managed hosting, and custom quotes for work outside those tiers.

2. The free scan

The scanner is free and requires no account. It reads publicly available information about the website address you enter and runs Google PageSpeed Insights against it. Scan results are estimates produced automatically and may be incomplete or out of date. They are provided for information and do not by themselves form a contract.

3. Prices, quotes and payment

  • Tier prices shown on the Site are in US dollars and are fixed for the tier the scan identifies, subject to the items in section 4.
  • The Site tier price of $499 covers up to 15 pages. Each page beyond 15 is $25. A page is a URL in your sitemap that is not a blog post, product or collection; utility pages such as privacy, terms, cart, search and thank-you pages are not counted. Blog posts share one template and are not counted; any number of them is included. The same applies to other content types that share a template (for example case studies or team profiles) and to category, tag and author archives. Sites with more than 50 pages receive a written quote instead of the automatic price.
  • The price shown at the end of your scan is fixed. It can go down if you remove pages at kickoff. It does not go up after payment, except for items you separately approve under the next bullet.
  • When you reserve a migration we email you a secure payment link. Work starts when the payment is received. No card details are collected on the Site.
  • Apps, integrations or custom code that the scan flags as "quoted separately" are quoted in writing before any work on them begins. You are not charged for quoted items until you approve the quote.
  • Sites on platforms we do not price automatically receive a written quote within one business day. That quote, once accepted, is the fixed price for the project.

4. What is included and what is not

Each tier includes the items listed on the Site under "Everything on your site comes with it" at the time of your order. Forms are rebuilt in a WordPress form plugin; payment forms and multi-step forms are quoted. Images are re-optimised as they move; embedded video stays with its host (for example YouTube or Vimeo), and video files hosted on your platform are quoted. One language is included; each additional language is quoted. In the Ecommerce tier, product and collection pages share templates and are not counted as pages; catalogs above 1,000 products, or order histories above 25,000 orders, are priced on the call. Unless quoted separately, the Services do not include new design work, new copy or content, third-party subscription fees, domain registration, email hosting, or changes to functionality beyond reproducing what exists on your current site.

5. Delivery times

Delivery targets run from the moment we have payment and any access we need, such as export files or platform credentials. The Site tier target is 48 hours for up to 15 pages, plus one business day for every 10 pages beyond that; the Ecommerce tier target is 5 to 9 business days. Very large catalogs or blog archives, platform export limits or delays in providing access can extend the target. We will tell you if that happens.

6. Review, approval and go-live

We deliver the rebuilt site on a private staging link for your review. You tell us about anything that does not match, and we correct it before go-live. Your existing site stays live throughout. Go-live is a DNS change that you authorise; you are responsible for having authority over the domain and for cancelling your previous platform once you are satisfied.

Match guarantee. If we cannot make the WordPress version match your site, we refund the rebuild price in full to the original payment method. "Match" means the same layouts, typography, colours, spacing, images and content as your site at kickoff, at desktop and phone widths, judged on the staging preview. Outside the guarantee: text colours you chose to keep or nudge in the scan, items quoted separately that you declined, third-party widgets whose own code renders differently on WordPress, content that changed on your current site after kickoff, and design changes you ask for. Hosting fees are covered by the performance guarantee in section 9, not by this one.

7. Ownership

Once paid for, the theme, content, media and database we deliver are yours. Open-source components (WordPress, WooCommerce and plugins) remain under their own licences. You confirm that you hold the rights to the content, images and other material on the site you ask us to migrate.

8. Managed hosting

Hosting is optional and billed monthly from go-live at the rate shown for your tier and order volume. Hosting includes the updates, backups and monitoring described on the Site. You may leave at any time and take a full export with you; hosting fees already paid for the current month are not refunded.

9. The performance guarantee

If you host with us, we guarantee that your site's homepage scores at least 93 for Performance, at least 95 for Accessibility, and 100 for Best Practices and SEO in Google PageSpeed Insights, desktop strategy, at go-live. If it does not, hosting is free until it does.

Two choices you can make sit outside the guarantee. If you ask us to keep text colors or link styles that fail WCAG AA contrast, the Accessibility figure is measured without the contrast audits and we tell you the resulting score before go-live. If you ask us to keep a third-party widget whose own code fails an audit, that audit is excluded. Otherwise the guarantee applies to the site as we delivered it; changes you or third parties make afterwards, scripts you add, and changes in Google's scoring methodology are outside it. Mobile scores are not guaranteed.

10. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact details, timely access and feedback, and to use the Services only for websites you own or are authorised to migrate. You will not use the scanner to probe websites you have no relationship with, or in a way that places unreasonable load on the Site.

11. Our right to refuse service

We may decline to work with anyone, at our discretion and without giving a reason. That includes declining a scan, a reservation, a quote request or a call, and ending a project after it has started. If we end a project after you have paid and before we deliver, we refund what you paid for the undelivered work in full; that refund is our only obligation in that case. We will not refuse service on any ground that applicable law prohibits.

12. Limitation of liability

We provide the Services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid for them. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales, lost rankings or lost data on platforms we do not control, and we do not guarantee search engine rankings or revenue outcomes.

13. Changes

We may update these terms and the prices on the Site. Changes apply to orders placed after the change. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
